Collaboration betweenOradea Art Nouveau Rotary Club and Philanthropy Association within the project "Youth Without old age" this year brought a lot of joy both to the family-type House in Bratca and to St. Pantelimon's Home.
Powered by American-Romanian Primary Schools we gave the young people Christmas presents and in "Santa's Workshop" we created decorations for the Christmas tree: globes and colorful garlands. Then I spiritually took the seniors from St. Pantelimon to the winter holidays. Christmas tree, ornaments, gifts and carols were the ingredients that brought smiles to the faces of the seniors.
The children were happy and I brightened up the grandparents' life a little. Young people learned to give, grandparents were happy to receive.
It is an action of the soul by which we want to bring together senior persons from the Senior Centers and children from the Children's Centers with the aim of constantly interacting and mutually benefiting from the emotion and warmth that each can offer.
