"Those who do not forget - History pages for our daily Book
Fundraising event for the Our Daily Book project
"Those Who Don't Forget - History Sheets for Our Daily Book"is an online charity event made by Oradea Art Nouveau Rotary Club Association in partnership with Queen Maria Theater Oradea and aims to support education in the rural environment, by establishing some rural school libraries.
The project aims to reduce the distance between the rural and the urban environment, to encourage the elimination of functional illiteracy among young people and to prevent school dropout. We believe that this project is beneficial for the entire community, positively impacting students, teachers and parents alike, drawing attention to the importance of reading and literacy as a fundamental human right.
May 9th is a good opportunity to celebrate together in this way.
The show-event: "Those who don't forget", a production of Queen Maria Theater – Iosif Vulcan Band, which premiered in the 2012-2013 season, supports the project "Our Daily Book", all the proceeds being directed towards the establishment of a rural school libraries at Pietroasa High School, Bihor county.
"Those who don't forget..." it is not a "mere theater performance". It is an experience that turns you into a witness to the collective past, another dimension of our recent history. It is a show that forces you to have your soul and eyes wide open for one of the most impressive theatrical experiences.
"Those who don't forget..." he is not talking about a simplistic event, but about what we know happened in the communist camps. It is a wake-up call for generations who must not forget the thousands of people who died in prisons.
"Those who don't forget..." it's a show where the curtain doesn't rise, where there's no room for applause. It's just an exposure of a cruel reality... Because the past must not be forgotten.
An itinerant show, theater in an unconventional space, based on a script by Gavriil Pinte.
