"Love of Yesterday and Today", the music and poetry show, Dragobete Caritabil, 6th edition at the Oradea State Philharmonic, on February 24, 2025, brought much joy and emotion to everyone present in the hall.
actor Sebastian Wolf he delighted us with old and new verses, with the wonderful poem Luceafărul, with love poems.
Choir and orchestra Department of Music - Faculty of Arts - University of Oradea led by conductors: Lect.univ.dr Carmen Rus and Lect.univ.dr Vladimir Agachi performed famous pieces with the theme of love.
Spectators had the opportunity to purchase handmade spring souvenirs made by members of the Oradea Art Nouveau Rotary Club and their friends, the painter Adela Lazar who was always with us, paintings by Julia Lukacs and martișoare made by the youngest Rotarians RotaKids Club Oradea.
The artists present on stage received from Ratio et Revelatio Publishing House a gift from the soul for the soul, a pack of books as an encouragement to read.
Also during this event, we marked 120 Rotary International, President of the Rotary Club Oradea Art Nouveau 2024-2025, prof. eng. univ. Maria Pop Ghergheleș gave a presentation of what Rotary means at the national level, and the history Constantine Demeter, President of the Rotary Club Oradea Insignis, reviewed the evolution of Rotary over time at the international level.
This event was organized to raise funds for a project by the Rotary Club Oradea Art Nouveau, which this year is in its 4th edition, the Art Education Camp, which is aimed at children from rural areas.
