Romania – New Generation Service Exchange
From September 12-22 a group of four Ohio Rotarians: Mckenzie Renee Allen, Rotary Club Marietta, Ohio; Mohammed Amin Mubarak, Rotary Club Of Dublin-Worthington Ohio; Grant Jones Stubbins, Zanesville Ohio Rotary Club; and Stephan Charles Brubaker, Whitehall Bexley Rotary Central Ohio as part of the New Generation Service Exchange project visited our country.
They visited Oradea, Bihor county, Alba Iulia, Brașov and Sibiu. They participated in the weekly meetings of Rotary Club Oradea Art Nouveau, Rotary E Club Arieseni "Alpin", Rotary Club Brașov, Rotary Club Sibiu. It was an important exchange of experience for the Rotarians from District 2241 Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
We thank our colleagues who got involved in this project and were welcoming hosts to overseas Rotarians.
In Oradea they visited the city guided by our colleague Costi Demeter, Rotary Club Oradea Badge, Oradea City Hall where we were hosted Antonia Nice, the vice-mayor of our city, visited the Oradea Citadel, the Thermal Baths, Oradea Romanian American School where our colleague was their host Claudia Morar and they also took part in sports activities in the town on Criș.
Congratulations Maria Pop Ghergheleș, Sorina Bradea, Cristina Marinau, Ramona Gabriela Nemes, Williams Mihai Rosian and to all the colleagues who got involved in the New Generation Service Exchange project.
